I’ve always been drawn to those large-scale construction sites. I continued to be amazed by the speedy progress typically made as a team unified by hard hats and reflective vests, starts by demolishing existing buildings and after a relatively short duration, ends with new, shiny, modern, state-of-the-industry, high-reaching buildings. I find the whole process amazing, making me proud of human-kind. I know these projects include architects who finished their work years prior to any shovels hitting the dirt. And I can only imagine the intense discussions and important decisions made in those trailered offices stationed on the fringe of where the construction always starts early in the morning, and often continues beyond dusk. Hats off to the many construction workers digging deep into the earth, planting foundational structure for buildings which make those new high risers, establishing new skylines across our country.
